Serious debut from a young band from Russia. Interesting varied musical material, executed in post black basic style, strong emotional background is unlikely to leave without impression and feelings. Life, loneliness, madness, nihilism, philosophical thoughts, deep gloomy atmosphere of hopelessness, from calm to hysteria. Album "The Prisoners of Life" available on CD from February 24! This CD highly recommended to all fans of different atmospheric music styles, post rock, post metal, post black, shoegaze, atmospheric and depressive black metal.

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-

There is no beauty left here...

Jordan Vauvert
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023
Tokyo band contrast black metal's brutal complexity with shoegaze's abyssal grandeur, resulting in an LP that feels crushing, yet infinite. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2022

Shivery and cold, yet with a subtle feeling of warmth enfolding each track. It's instantly engaging, with a great message overall and a cinematic story behind "Neswa-Pawuk". It's emotional without losing the black metal spirit. Umbra Cornuta
