Most of this feels like a newer blackgaze album released in the last couple of years, but without vocals for the most part. More blackgaze and atmospheric black metal bands are releasing instrumental versions of their albums these days too. That being the case, this is another HDR artist whose progression feels ahead of his time. This album is from 2010. It’s really quite good and engaging, with fantastic guitar work and progressive aspects.

Atmospheric Black Metal from Australia. Mesarthim are unique, their music almost induces a trance like state where you are travelling through the cosmos / universe and each song is about what you meet along the way :) I am too lost & absorbed in the music to make any sense... :) Highly recommended!!!

I love how bands like Windbruch are pushing the BM envelope. I call this BlackProg. It's wonderful, brutal and soothing. This is currently one of my favorite BM releases. Epic, Heartfelt, heavy and poignant. You don't want to miss out on this. This is the stuff that keeps me coming back to BM. It's at the top of it's class.
