I've come back to this album to give it it's well-deserved due.
The interpositions are coherent and cold, it's all put together really nicely which adds to the effectiveness of it's depressing atmosphere, and to it's faculty-decimating power.
Throughout the album it often reminds me of the great Bathory, which is always a good thing.

The depressive black metal on this album has its focus on atmosphere, but the epic songs vary as well. Besides dark doom-like passages or ambient soundscapes we also hear a more fast paced track like "The specter of dreams" with its dominating cling-clong keyboards. From release to release this project becomes more dynamic and interesting. Good one! H.L.
