"Over time, how would with the rotation of the spindle which spins the thread of life, our tastes change, expanding the boundaries of musical perception. As if a spider weaves into our minds new coils of spiderweb which resonates thin strings with strings of the soul. I recently realized that I feel a huge desire to play something completely new music which don't fit within the my project Godcider. Effect permanent musical search, the desire to create something truly worthwhile. The formation of the concept of a new project in my mind happened very quickly, a flurry of fresh ideas and totally intuitive origin of the name about the significance of which I did not have any idea at that time, attended only belief in the correctness of what I'm doing. This special feeling didn't come to me probably since of the album "Ego Sum Veritas", this feeling of the presence of a third force, in addition to the tool, and me. Anyway, the resulting material satisfied me fully, it is dedicated to the not very distant past, when hundreds and thousands of people died from cold and disease, for the sake of a "bright future" which never arrived." Jordan Vauvert

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023
Tokyo band contrast black metal's brutal complexity with shoegaze's abyssal grandeur, resulting in an LP that feels crushing, yet infinite. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2022

These guys do a phenomenal job, using everything at hand, in developing atmosphere that is raw, expressive, dynamic and uncompromising. I think that lends a kind of living quality to their songs; they're continuously moving, whether progressing or receding. I find it as impressive as it is engaging.
Also, Love those vocals. A
